Pushpay Holdings Ltd has announced the appointment of Richard Keys as interim chief financial officer, effective today, September 6, 2021. Current CFO Shane Sampson leaves at the end of this month. Keys will join Pushpay on a consultancy basis. He was previously chief executive of Abano Healthcare for five years until its takeover last year. Pushpay described him as “an experienced listed company executive with 30 years of healthcare and management experience in the public and private sectors, including in listed and government entities and large complex organisations”. The company said Keys would “provide strength to the leadership team while executive search and recruitment for a US-based CFO is under way”.

ProCare has appointed Mihi Blair (Ngāti Whātua) as its new Kaiwhakahaere Māori – Head of Māori. This appointment comes just a few short months after ProCare launched its internal equity strategy which outline the organisation’s commitment to align to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and deliver key actions to help improve equity in healthcare. The role will form part of ProCare’s Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and will report directly to the Group CEO.

MASH Trust is pleased to announce that Dr Karleen Edwards has been appointed chief executive officer. Dr Edwards has a long history in the health sector on both sides of the Tasman and a more recent history in local government fulfilling an instrumental role in the rebuild of Christchurch as the chief executive officer of the Christchurch City Council.

Previous roles include Group Manager Customer, Strategy and Marketing at South East Water in Melbourne, and General Manager Brand, People and Strategy at MyState Financial in Tasmania. Prior to relocating back to Melbourne in April, Marsha was General Manager Strategy, Customer and Sustainability at Waste Management New Zealand in Auckland.

Oceania Healthcare Ltd has announced the appointment of Kathryn Waugh to the role of chief financial officer and the appointment of Anna Thorburn to the role of group general counsel. Both appointments are effective immediately.
